Lewis was born in 1978 and went on to be one of the true greats in the world of rugby union. Not only did he captain England but he was a World Cup winner with England and went on to also be capped by the British & Irish Lions.
Perhaps his biggest challenge was when he was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Here is the discussion we had in full. I very much hope that this serves as an inspiration to those coping with Colitis or any Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Lewis is has shown great courage and dignity in talking openly about his illness.
